From a hilltop high there along the sea, King Gregory surveyed his kingdom And he gazed with pride far as he could see o’er the land that was held in his name And the sun shone high o’er the western sky, one banner waving in glory As a friendly hand from a distant land, Queen Bevin delivered her greeting.
Do they see me smile; can they hear me cry when we cannot stand here together? For the many miles of our royal lands do seemingly go on forever. Yes, it’s been awhile since you’ve seen your son and his brothers and sisters in service But our kingdom’s strong as we stand as one and the world will remember our story.
From the distant lands there along the sea a young prince worked hard for his kingdom And on his command and to serve the dream good gentles brought wealth to this land. And the moon was bright in the western sky, her face returning a greeting To the mother land along distant shore, until the time of their next meeting.
We have served our king and that’s made us strong; we’ve carried the dream with true spirit We have held with pride these entrusted lands and fought for our king without fear. But, the time has come that we stand alone; we’re ready to raise a new banner For the royal prince to receive his throne, and show the known world our own glory.
From a hilltop high there along the sea, King Armand surveyed his new kingdom And he gazed with pride far as he could see o’er the land that was held in his name. And the sun shone high o’er the western sky; two banners now waving in glory As a friendly hand from a nearby land Diana returning her greeting.
I can feel them near; I know well their pride, for we carry this honor together. And we hold them dear, those who share our line, and remain peers in service forever. And we’ll see ourselves in each other’s smiles; two kingdoms embracing each other Now our banners wave across the miles and the world will remember our story.
