As prepared by Beathog:
Cook onions and leeks in a small amount of olive oil until soft. Add stock and cabbage, cut up, and season to taste with cinnamon, galingale, cardamom, sugar, salt, pepper and saffron. Simmer until cabbage is soft and a rich broth has formed.
