|
SCULLERY
- Washes pots & pans, platters, and serving dishes
- Cast iron is the responsibility of the owner, as is individual feast gear!
WATER BEARER
- Carries all wash water in, and all gray water out for the day
- Hot water kettle is to be kept full for dish washing and showers
- Gray water should be disposed of after dishwashing and when shower
tank is full
- Water bearing can be hard on your body! It’s okay to take a buddy...
CHATELAIN/CHATELAINE
- This is the most important job in the camp!
- Daily camp host/hostess; sponsors drop-in visitors
- Maintains common areas and readies feast tables for meals
- Oversees removal of mundane items from the camp common areas
- Refills lanterns with fresh candles and locates lighters before dark
KINDLER
- Disposes of ashes
- Manages fuel supply and fire area and keeps an eye on the wood pile
- Lights and maintains fire for the cook
- Monitors fire and ensures that it is always being attended
- Keeps fire extinguisher in close proximity and in plain view of fire area
COOK (assigned by the Guidwife)
- Head cook for each meal
- Oversees kitchen and meal preparations
KITCHENER
- Assists the cook where needed, such as in preparing the meal
- Responsible for proper storage of leftover food at the end of the meal
- Monitors removal of food from table and prep areas when meal is
ended
- Sees that trash is emptied after breakfast and before dinner, or as
needed
- Cleans food prep areas and work surfaces
